Quetta: The postponement decision ( to 18th February) of Election Commission Pakistan would only benefit the government-backed political parties for whom the Caretaker Government is preparing the plan of polls rigging, said Abdul Khaliq Hazar, the Secretary General of HDP and nominated candidate for Balochistan Provincial Assembly constituency PB-2 Quetta II, Hussain Ali Yousafi, HDP nominated candidate for PB-6 Quetta 6, Abdul Samad Durrani, HDP nominated for PB-1 Quetta 1 and Barkat Ali Thamki, HDP nominated for National Assembly constituency NA-260.
They while addressing different corner meetings as part of their election campaign in provincial and national assembly constituencies of PB-1, 2,6 and NA-260 areas, said that HDP would strive against the polls rigging with the help of masses and other political parties. They termed the martyrdom of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto as a “great tragedy to the country” and said that her assasination was a preplanned conspiracy for anarchy in the country and said that the only solution for current situation in the country is conduct of free, fair and transparent elections.
Many people attended the corner meetings and assured their support for HDP candidates. they included, Ahmed Tekidaar, Faisal, Malik, Sakhi, Essa Khan, Aqai-e- Hussaini, Ikhlaqi, Haqjoo, Muhammad Ali, Aqai-e-Parwarish, Mualim Rustam, Haji Raza, Mula Juma.
