Hazaras Send Relief Goods, Volunteers for Quake Victims

The Hazara community in Quetta has donated relief goods to people in Ziarat and other parts of Balochistan hit by the October 29 earthquake.

Provincial Minster for Presidential Program, Jan Ali Changazi, Hazara Democratic Party, and Itehad-e Tajiran Balochistan have taken several trucks of food and other supplies to Ziarat and adjoining areas affected by the earthquake.

The relief goods were collected from various donation booths set up in Mehrabad and Hazara Town. For over a week, the people donated warm clothes, blankets, food and other goods.

I have a simple question of reviewing our locality (physical ,economical ,culturel ,educational ,political ,stretegical ..etc ) in pakistan and its advantages and disadvantages ….I really dont emphasise on reshifting to Afghanistan …. but why to fight or make tension for a 2000 square feet (Aaoli) khanna when we did left acres of cultivating lands in Afghanistan …… abd for rouzgar we left our homes for kushtargah and sakhtmani works ….and who ever remains they become addicts mostly ….

well……. even this fund doesn’t exist but still a number of people are doing in their own spheres .
without telling others what they are doing …and i dont think a respected and known hazara will take charge of such Funds …. today it is simply known by every one to first find welalth from every popular and unpopular means and than sacrifice few goats and sheeps and some nazar niaz to halal the earned income …..no one would be and we although have so many occasions to do our khairat that their remains no reason for anymore …..
See Ummul mufasid (mother of evil) is unemployment …..we have to do more to produce jobs not by wasting our and our new generations life in English languages and Dua e kumail parties but to think and search for more means of production and income so we could have a balanced and independent prosperity …
educating and feeding in free is simply spoiling ..
I think educating our children for slavery of punjabi or pashtun establishement is worthless ..instead we should produce somethink like taliban ….. the holy pashtun warriors ….
pashtuns covered in islamic shell ….
the khairat agenda is not fitted to hazaragi mentality ….hazara will only remember those who will create ultimate means not the pcychos who first earn haram and make it halal by khairat bazi … and such khairats are to disinform people about their evil activites ..like Syed Muhammad Ali ..a well known and syed Iraqi…..

  4. hazara needs it more however what it is.
    khairat or something els……

  5. Salam to all my sweet hazaras.
It`s good to send Relief Goods to people how needs that.
But i think we have poor people like our hazaras, they needs it more then them.
    Wassalam baradaran.

  6. Bamiyan,
Give a man a fish and you feed him for one day,
Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for life!
You are right in saying that mere funds will not do the job and this was highlighted in Point 4 that projects should be highlighted for which the funds are collected. We should focus on skill development of the people.
Dr. Younis of Grameen Bank got the Nobel proze for pioneering micro financing (which is enabling the poor to start a business and then paying back the loan in easy installments). Even this can miscontrued as ‘khairat’ if we look at it from your angle.
The answer to your question of corruption creeping in is also answered by you. You mentioned that Dr. Sima Samar is a prominent personality amongst Hazaras and I am sure she is doing a great deal for the development of Hazaras. The ‘World Hazara Fund’ can be placed under her supervision so that the question of ‘mistrust’ doesn’t arise.
We can collect funds from Hazaras around the world and focus on projects like:
    – providing incentives for hazara children to join schools. The incentives could be in the form of monthly ration for the family.
    – providing free medicine for hosptials all around Hazaristan so that the poor can get medical aid free of charge.
There can be a 100 more examples but the point is that Hazaras outside Hazaristan unfortunately can only contribute through financial means as they are physically not present their.
We have a sizeable Hazara population outside Hazaristan and all of them having stakes and roots in Hazaristan. There is a part of Hazristan in every Hazara and we want to see it prosper and grow.
If we promote this ‘World Hazara Fund’ amongst the global Hazara population and create awareness properly then this might succeed (it can even fail – but atleast there will be no regrets). I am sure every Hazara can spare 5% of there monthly income for their Fatherland!
The success of this concept is dependent on 02 things:
    1) Trust of every Hazara in the propoer utilization of the funds.
    This can be achieved by:
    a) A respected personality (like Dr. Samar or anyother) overlooking and endorsing the project
    b) On ground development – showing the Hazaras around the world how the funds are being utilized. This can be done through website. (It will be worthwhile to visit “http://www.theworldchallenge.co.uk” and check out the example of Yurt Kindergartens of Kyrgystan)

    Regards,

From my personal experience …a friend of mine wanted to give a new pair of shoes to a poor boy of his gali which was new but could not be wared as it was small for him now …when he talked that boy had mined it and said i m poor but not khairat khor give to a shashpar ( Syed abbas really is syed ) …..
and such ideas come coz of Agha khanis (they really think Agha khan as the superman of present era ….For nations it is not feasible …sir i think u have been in tanzeem and HSF ..even if not u know about them with which idealogy and reasons they established it and now where it stands ….and among them who can say that he has not been the part of curruption ….it is useless if i mention names and their deeds….
this shoulders to shoulder help can be teaching tecnics of a variety of works that are been done by people all arround …. a simple Example can be Dr. younas of Bagladesh 2007 Noble prize for Economy ….U do know why he was given that prize ….Sima samar is the nicest example for educating and curing ….. But all should have a single reason of prosperous Hazarajat ….It really is great to plant a single tree even but why not in ur own land for ur own children …
where u ,ur investment and ur earning all are safe … A sparrow makes her nest where she ,her eggs and her children all are saved from rains and other possible incidents ….accidents still happen but from her side she does her best …
